Have you noticed the new PokerPro texas hold’em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about three weeks ago when I took a brief holiday with my wife to the WinStar Gambling house in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my turn to be acknowledged at the live tables, I noticed how the other persons at the PokerPro tables relate with each other. It was fairly intriguing to say the very least. Because the poker table was controlled by a computer, there were no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live encounter was boring. Maybe I was the only one that spotted this, but I did observe the gamblers at the table had a dull high quality to them. The reason for this may possibly be since there was no human discussion with the croupier, the ambiance was rather boring and the players looked bored to death. It was almost as if I was looking at a live version of an internet based texas hold’em poker room instead of being seated with hot bodied humans. It was a little bit bizarre and I kept flashing back to a show of ST:TNG and the holodeck broke down.

Since the waiting time for the stay tables for more than an hour, I made the decision to observe how the casino game play was and to experience this new hold’em poker gaming technology. After wagering a few hands, I definitely felt like I was betting at house. The lack of activity on the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle and stack my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those items are feasible at these electronic tables.

An additional thing I observed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a lot of hands on the PokerPro table and noticed that the bet on was a whole lot like an internet texas holdem poker website. That could have been just a coincidence, except I discovered it to be quite odd.

Soon after betting a couple of rounds with this "unique holdem poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m better off wagering hold em poker on the internet at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Betting house were to have rid of the stay poker tables, I think they’d loose a good deal of gamblers.
