Omaha Hi-Lo (also known as Omaha 8 or better) is frequently viewed as one of the most difficult but popular poker games. It’s a variation that, even more than regular Omaha poker, aims for action from all levels of players. This is the primary reason why a once irrelevant variation, has increased in acceptance so amazingly.

Omaha 8 or better starts like a normal game of Omaha. 4 cards are dealt to every player. A sequence of betting ensues where players can bet, check, or fold. Three cards are handed out, this is known as the flop. A further sequence of betting ensues.
